- Mid-September Elk Hunt, we will be working backwards for programming purposes
- 5-week base maintenance beginning April 8
- May 13-20 initial testing period
- May 20th start date for a big 16-week block
- Mid-test potentially July 8-12
- Post-test potentially Sept. 2-9
- What will we be testing??? See below
- TESTS CONSIST OF THE FOLLOWING
1. sit-n-reach (low back/hamstring/posterior chain flexibility)
2. 3rm back squat (lower body maximal strength)
3. 60-second max repetitions back extension w/25lb plate (low back/posterior chain endurance)
4. hamstring mobility assessment
5. 1.5-mile open run (aerobic capacity)
6. 5k run w/50lb ruck (aerobic/anaerobic capacity)
